Asian Arts Initiative

If you are visiting Chinatown in Philly, look for Pearl Street alley, behind the Asian Arts Initiative building. In 2021 AAI asked me to repaint the alleyway and to bring some life into that space. The mural is titled “Strobe Lights”. The figures are dancing, posing, mid expression. I wanted to show a wide range of figures larger than life amidst streaks of colors. Some in motion, some at rest. Spanning an entire city block, “Strobe Lights” is a 174’x28’ mural.
